Seasons of Fernbank Forest: Photos by Peter Essick
Over the course of two years, Peter Essick photographed the seasonal changes in Fernbank's majestic old-growth forest. The dynamic beauty of the forest is captured in 35 framed photos from the book, "Fernbank Forest," providing viewers with breathtaking views of the forest canopy, close-up stills of diverse forest species and stunning seasonal displays.

Fernbank Forest: Conversation and Book Signing
Join photographer Peter Essick and Fernbank ecologist Eli Dickerson for a conversation about the Museum's ongoing ecological restoration efforts and the two year photography project documenting the diversity of life in Fernbank Forest. Copies of the "Fernbank Forest" photography book will be available for purchase and a book signing will immediately follow the talk.

Cost is free but advance reservations are required. Please click for more information and tickets. Space is limited. This program is appropriate for ages 14 and up.

Photographic Tour of Fernbank Forest
Join photographer Peter Essick and Fernbank ecologist Eli Dickerson for a tour of Fernbank Forest. The 1.5-mile walking tour will highlight places featured in the new photography book, "Fernbank Forest," by Peter Essick.

Cost is $15 for Fernbank Members and $25 for non-members. Please click for more information and tickets. This program is appropriate for ages 14 and older.
