Women In Focus is a non-profit artist-initiated organization of women photographers who have joined together to support and promote the photographic arts.

Founded in 1993 by a group of women who recognized the need for a formal network of women photographers who could assist in each others' personal, professional, and artistic growth, Women In Focus has become a thriving organization whose diverse membership includes photographic artists ranging from beginners to seasoned professionals, all brought together by their passion for photography.

Women In Focus values each individual member for the unique contributions that she brings to the organization and strives to provide all members with the resources that they need to thrive as artists. Women In Focus is dedicated to facilitating a forum for open dialogue regarding photography in all of its forms.

Educational programs address both technical proficiency and scholarship by incorporating lectures, workshops, and critiques and by covering topics relating to the history and business of photography as well as the creation of images. Women In Focus engages in community activity by hosting events all around Atlanta adjoint projects with women around the world.
